Building has always been part of who Mick is.

Mick grew up building cubbies, working with timber and finding ways to turn ideas into something real. That early interest became a career in carpentry and building.

Today, Mick brings 20 years of industry experience and 13 years as a licensed builder to every Iconic Built project. He still enjoys being on the tools, solving practical problems and seeing a home change in a way that makes daily life better.

Mick started Iconic Built with a simple goal: to give clients a better view of what working with a builder can feel like.

That means turning up, being approachable, communicating clearly and treating every home with care. The finished work matters, but so does the experience of getting there.

For Mick, investing in a renovation or extension should feel exciting and rewarding. It should not feel like months of confusion, mess and unnecessary stress.

Mick does not step away once the project begins. He completes the carpentry work, manages the project, oversees the work happening on-site and stays involved in client discussions throughout the build.

Because Iconic Built only takes on one or two projects at a time, Mick can give each home the attention it deserves and help the work move forward efficiently.

Spring, Belmont.

Spring combined a detailed heritage restoration with a modern rear extension. The project was challenging, took almost two years and required old building elements to be carefully rebuilt while protecting the character of a home more than 100 years old.

The finished project was featured on Grand Designs Transformations on ABC, making it a standout moment in Mick's career.

Keeping life simple,

Away from work, Mick enjoys spending time with his two young children, playing golf when time allows and riding motorbikes. He describes himself as happy, friendly and easy-going, and brings that same practical, low-stress approach to his work.
